I drove by it today and was surprised, I thought it was doing well ... then again, I thought the Caribou on the same road was as well, and that closed a few months ago too. *sigh* |

Having seen Jon Cryer in "Two and a Half Men", James Spader in "Boston Legal," and Molly Ringwald only in "The Breakfast Club", I just watched the 1986 movie "Pretty in Pink" .... oh man. Great movie.

I think this was meant to be a joke, but I thought that it was in very bad taste, and I was surprised that a partner in an Edinburgh firm would speak in this way. I later discovered that Mr Monboddo only said things like that when he had had a small glass of sherry, and so I learned to distinguish between those things that were said in all seriousness and those that were not. I have always taken the view that one should never hold against a man anything that he says after twelve o'clock at night or after a glass or two of something.

All right, people. So it seems I am fortunate enough that my room for next year is THE virtual tour room for East Quad. I won't know the actual dimensions till August, but until then I invite you to ...
Guess my room dimensions
A hint: my last year's room was 13x15 and was definitely smaller than this one. I'm thinking 13x16 or 13x18 at the least.
[and for all you U of M kids: the room has 2 windows and 3 closets. Boo yah =D.]
-edit, 9:14pm, 7/29/06: Well, I was almost right .... my room is 14x18 :-).
